On August 3rd 2010, the Basle site of the Swiss Safety Institute has changed its legal structure and is now operating under the name "SWISSI Process Safety Ltd" as a subsidiary of the Swiss Institute for Promotion of Safety and Security. After the formation of Swissi España Ltd. in 2008, this is a further step towards a modern organization, which opens new opportunities for cooperation. Together with new partners we will be able to offer an even broader range of safety services to our customers.

Certainly, our established services in consulting, training and lab testing will still be available in high quality at competitive prices and with unique response times.

As a neutral centre of expertise for risk and safety, our function is to be your partner in a joint approach to tackling the problem – from analysing the problem and planning the procedure to be taken right through to optimization of the ultimate solution.

Our many years of experience, our in-depth knowledge and the wide range of disciplines covered by our experts enable us to create solutions fulfilling your needs in the required technological scope and depth.

In addition to our technical abilities, our clients both in Switzerland and other countries value our language skills.

Test Center:
The SWISSI test center is accredited under ISO 17025:2005.

The determination of safety characteristics of solids and liquids is a prerequisite for sound and effective risk analyses and thus for the safety of your processes.

The characterisation of hazardous materials in the framework of REACH, GHS, ADR etc. becomes increasingly important. In this field we offer a comprehensive test program.

In static electricity our test lab is among the world leaders. In particular, we are specialized in certification of flexible bulk containers (FIBC) according to the most recent standards.

There is a growing demand for our high pressure DSC crucibles, which are characterized by their low weight for fast scanning and their high reliability due to thorough quality control.
The program of equipment for screening devices has been accomplished by UCODAR, a new control device for thermal tests in small laboratories.

Make us your partner in safety and we help you to be at the forefront. Ask for a Service Level Agreement tailored to your requirements.
